Since my last blog in August (yikes) I have been focusing more on my photography than on the watercolors. I have SO many pictures and a list as long as my arm for more blog posts!!
As of recent days, I have been asked to do promotions for the band "MERCY"
And therefore I was given the wonderful opportunity to do the photo shoot for the band!! Now here's the deal, I am not a professional photographer nor have I ever played a photographer on T.V. but it just so happens that I pretend to be one in real life! HA
This was my first photo shoot! It was the best learning experience for photographing people. I made some mistakes and later wished I had done a few things differently but overall I think the pictures turned out good for a novice photographer like myself.
I hope you enjoy the pictures and I KNOW you will enjoy listening to the soulful music of MERCY!! Have a great day friends!! Anni

This was the reflection of the band in a mud puddle....then tweaked a bit with photo software.

Lynda Morrison has the vocal power to slam you against the wall and a vulnerability that will melt your heart. Comparisons to Etta James, Eva Cassidy and Janis Joplin are not uncommon. Starting as a teen on the road by the end of the 80's she had participated in multiple tours and recording projects. In the early 90’s she recorded her first solo album, “The River”. Assisting on it were Jaymes Felix (Tower of Power), Greg Eckler (Rubicon), Bob Anglin (Sammy Hagar). She wrote or co-wrote much of the material and it was a regional success. Now performing with "MERCY”, featuring her and a 4 piece back up band Lynda performs original and classic soul, R&B, rock and blues pumping fresh new life into them with her extraordinary vocal prowess. MERCY is high energy, crowd pleasing and has extraordinary musicianship.
