When I was a child growing up, I used to dream of adventure and exploring. While all my close friends were wanting an "Easy Bake Oven" for Christmas.... I wanted a horse, a BB Gun, lipstick and a camera, so I could record all those adventures when I went horseback riding. (The BB Gun was for protection (laughing) and my friends grew up to be FABULOUS cooks)
I still have that adventurous spirit, the 38 year old BB Gun and 4 shades of lipsticks (lipstick is not 38 years old.) The camera for me has been a venue in which I can still explore the unbeaten paths,

adventure and possibilities through lens and light.
I so appreciate my husbands love, support and his encouragement to pursue the dream of being a good photographer one day. (Love you Mr. Jones)
Now, as for the photographs ,there are so many things that I'd like to articulate about these. But as Lewis Hine once said, "If I could tell the story in words, I wouldn't need to lug around a camera." So with that said, other than a few rambling thoughts, I hope the photos speak for themselves.
Have great weekend friends! Anni

Unfortunately this was shot in jpeg,
I had reset my camera settings and I forgot to switch it back to raw. grrrrrr.......
I imagine that this was a gorgeous little farmhouse in it's prime. This was taken on a little dirt road in the middle of nowhere surrounded by beautiful pastures. I could imagine kids laughing, a dog barking and a mom yelling, "kids....wash up for dinner!" just as a 1930's Ford truck pulls into the driveway, scattering the chickens as if there were running for their lives. (The End) ;) I went back to this location a year later after this was taken, she had completely collapsed and only the trees and chimney remained standing.
